THE GARMENT

Silk and velvet are sewn together by the Universal Dressmaker with strong yet gossamer thread weaving into the garment patterns of sweet, sweet colour

At the hem sits Muladhara glowing in brave strong crimson ready to manifest desire as it swirls into the sacredness of Svadisthana the garment coming alive as it writhes in the sensual dance as old as time itself burning orange fire

The two fabrics now becoming one as they dance and blend to reach Manipur’s greeting the bright yellow friend and now as one solid creation form Anahata the softest green it’s twin soul pink with loving promise

The vestige truth blending blue Vishuddi together daring both to speak their truth within its sometime hidden meaning

Ajna becomes the garment’s glory flowing into deepest indigo blending deeply inside the two fabrics where it spreads it’s Universal knowledge of The Master where finally the Universal Dressmaker sits waiting with the silver friend, The Crown knowing this garment of strong soft silk slides beside the harder yet still soft strong velvet is now ready to wear

A garment for those who share it’s secret yet understand it’s need for openness, authenticity and yes even freedom

An honest garment made strong enough to stand the test of time. And the name of this beautiful creation? How could it be called anything else but Love

One response to “THE GARMENT”

  1. Many things move me to write. Often it takes some time to grow my garden of words, particularly when I have been moved deeply. Then I need time to assimilate feelings and emotions before I can commit to words. Other times words just flow from me like a waterfall in endless streams. This, not poetry and certainly not prose just flowed from my pen this morning and would not leave me alone until I had committed to it. Namaste
