At first just silver shone
A glimpse, a shadow
Then they began to appear
Growing stronger each day
Some days blues predominate
Others it’s amethyst
Always with pink and green
The Love that keeps on giving
I paint pictures for your memory
I bless this sight I have of you
The privilege and joy of you
Completely opening up, being vulnerable
Why this has happened now I do not know
The very best gift I have ever had
