When you think of the word “successful,” who’s the first person that comes to mind and why?
My dearest friend, who changed the course of his life in his 50s. He found spiritual calmness and changed his whole career. He started life born as a Catholic, became agnostic and because of all that had happened in his life, he wanted to explore the ,”why”. From an engineering background he changed course completely and through hard work and dedication earned himself a doctorate in a completely different field helping others.
He is charismatic and kind, deeply spiritual following a dedicated pathway of meditation and learning to reach the attainment of peace and oneness with our Divine Master. He has helped so many people (including me) and I have learnt so much by watching him put into practice a lifestyle that clearly shows he “walks his talk”. He does not espouse or preach, but merely offers “for consideration”. In reaching out to others he shows his feet of clay, being authentic and a man of integrity. He once said that he was concerned about being put on a pedestal by me, but because of his honesty in showing his flaws and vulnerability, that could never happen. Knowing him has added to my life in ways I never expected and it is a privilege to know and love/Love this friend.
He is successful because he has worked to become who he is. He is loved by so many people I sometimes wonder why he finds time for me
