Do you need time?
A strange prompt. Time for what? Or is it about the need for more time?
There’s nothing like retirement for making you realise that time is man made. There are days when you feel constantly on the go rushing around and then others where the day seems to just drag. The only answer is to live in the moment, and of course that is not always easy
As I age I am aware that time is running out to do all the things I want to do. The famous “bucket list” is slowly getting the ticks. Fortunately I am still fit enough to continue travelling, yet I am aware that I have now taken the step to use travel assistance with luggage and using those little travel carts when gates are 10 to 20 minutes walk away because even using travelators is tiring. Next January, I will be visiting my son in Australia and face a minimum 48 hours of travel when you factor in travel from home to the airport and stop overs etc. Certainly I have enough time, yet it’s going to be very tiring whichever way I look at it
