After I lost both my sisters and a niece to cancer I set up a charity to provide the financial means to provide free complementary therapy for NHS patients with cancer or other long term conditions.  It started out as a small local charity, but became (British,  which is equivalent to State) wide.  During and after COVID like all charities it struggled to find funding, and still does because everyone in the not for profit sector is struggling to get funding from the same pot of funds. 

I have since retired from running the charity and handed it over to a great volunteer team.  The therapists are vetted to make sure they are properly qualified and members of a recognised governing authority relative to their therapy.  They only receive a small retainer for supporting the beneficiaries of the charity.  So,  if I had a million pounds/dollars to give away without a doubt, if  there would be an opportunity to give money away, it would be to The Harmony Therapy Trust to ensure they could continue their vital work.
